Really Busy Weekend

It’s been a frantic weekend, and I’m glad it’s a bank holiday so I get a chance to recover a bit.

Friday Gilli & Mat were in the area and we headed to a locla pub for dinner, giving me a chance to try out one of the local pubs. Later on in the evening Dan & I headed off to Caterham, driving late to avoid the traffic.

Saturday was Miffy’s Wedding, Miffy was one of Dan’s best friends from school. Miffy had a full ceremony at the Abbey and then a lovely reception out in a marquee in lovely grounds.

Sunday was Roan’s Baptism. Roan is the first child among my friends, and Ani & Sunil invited us all to join them for his baptism. This was held up in Birmingham, so meant a lot of driving this weekend, but it was lovely to see everyone.
