Look back at 2008
1 January 2009, by Angel Annie
Looking back over the past year is always an interesting exercise.
I’ve moved house, living on my own for the first time. I’ve also cut down the amount of stuff I’ve been lugging around with me for years, and made a bit of money in the process. I’ve also started fostering cats, helping the Cat Protection League look after cats in the area, and giving me feline company again. Having kittens around has been a real treat – if a lot of work!
Dan & I have had a good year, enjoying our first ‘proper’ holiday together and I’m looking forward to the next year (and many years after that) with him too.
My main achievements have been to clear my credit card debt and continue to live to a budget so I know I’m not going to run it up again. I’ve also gained my Project Management PMP qualification and moved to a Project Management role.
Looking on the things I could have improved, my health and diet would be top of the list I think. I didn’t keep my weight down as intended, so that’s my big challenge for this year now. I’ve let me exercise routine slip too so that also needs to be sorted.
