MadHouse BYO Dinner – Sat December 8th

Well, it’s going to be interesting to organise a BYO buffet dinner – so thought I’d use this to do it. I’ll keep a list below of what ppl have said they’ll bring with them, so we can avoid too much / too little of anything. You can send me an email, or add a comment to this post & I’ll update this main post as we go along – so it’s easy to see what you’ve committed to.

The idea is to spend £5-£10 each on food, and to bring along the wine / beer / spirits etc you’d like to go with that )
We’ll provide plates etc, and the usual selection of spirits and mixers.

Fell free to suggest whatever you fancy for the buffet (we just want an idea so we’re not overloaded with sweet or savoury), my suggestions are:

Savoury:
Cooked meats, bread, cheese, grapes, olives, breadsticks, veggies, crisps, dips, mini pasties, indian / chinese selection, sausages, salads

Sweet:
Cake(s), mini desserts, chocolate, sweets, biscuits

Other:
Crackers, bubbly

Here’s what’s been promised so far …

Annie & Dan – selection cooked meats, choc flapjack
Helen & Hendrik – bread, cheese, olives, greek salad
Carl – sausage rolls & volavonts
Andrew & Cal – crisps (inc healthier ones) & crackers
Steve D – sausages rolls / mince pies (or maybe Asti)
