I’ve now got my 3rd foster care – another pair of kittens! This brother & sister pair have been kept in a pen in a fosterer’s garden since they were trapped (having been born in the wild). While some of their siblings have remained feral these guys seem OK. Having never been in a home environment though, they’re getting a taster with me before being adopted. Hopefully they’ll be OK, though I’m not sure I’ll find out tonight – they haven’t come out from behind the sofa yet!

After staying with me only 5 days Ollie has now been adopted. My first handover as well (as Shadow & Charmer went while I was on holiday). It all went smoothly though and looks like he’ll be very happy with his new family. I’m wondering who I’ll get next now.

I’ve been working since Jan 07 to actually sort out my debts, rather than burying my head in the sand and hoping they’d go away. With a large credit card debt and 2 loans I knew it was going to take a long time – but I have now achieved the first step and cleared my credit card debt!
Now all I need is a pay rise (or for prices to go down) and I can start to tackle my loans. Given the current financial climate I think I’ll be waiting for a while before I can do much, but at least I now understand my finances enough to avoid running up more debt in the meantime.

I picked up my second foster cat from the vet. Another young cat, about 5months old, found as a stray. He has lovely ginger and white colouring, and is very friendly. He also likes to play a bit rough though and has no discipline at all – so going to be interesting getting used to each other.

Dan & I had our first proper holiday together, and headed off to Zante for a week, staying in Kalamaki. We had a lovely holiday, eating out every night and generally enjoying quiet days by the pool in the hotel. We did visit Zante Town, St Nicholas Beach in Vasilikos and the Waterpark as well as attending a traditional greek night in Kampi, so we weren’t bored.

I’ve had these lovely boys for 2 months, with no-one interested in them at all. I dropped them off for boarding while I was on holiday, and they were adopted within 2 days! I always thought the first person to visit them would want them, and that was the way it happened. I hope they’re happy with their new owner, although I will miss them.
