Gilli & Mat celebrated their engagement with a party in London. Dan & I headed down to join them and enjoyed the evening, especially catching up with some old friends I hadn’t seen for ages.

After months of studying it was time to actually sit the exam. It was rather nerve wracking travelling into London, then finding the exam center. The exam itself was harder than I was hoping, and I really wasn’t very hopeful when I finally submitted it (after 4hrs answering questions). It all turned out well though – and I passed the exam. This makes me a qualified Project Management Professional (PMP) now, which will hopefully give me a help towards getting a Project Management role soon.

My first foster care are 2 semi-longhair black kittens, just 11 weeks old (about 2.5 months). They’re lovely little things, into everything and full of fun. I’m sure I won’t have them very long, as kittens are usually adopted very quickly. I’m going to love every day I do have them though.

I’d booked my flight to Newcastle a while ago, to visit Mum for her Birthday. It also ended up being the weekend Chris, my cousin, was getting married to Kelly so I went along to the evening reception. There was a bit of a problem when Andy & I missed the bus, and had to get a taxi instead – which then got lost! We made it in the end though and had a good evening. For Mum’s birthday we went to the cinema and then out for dinner in the evening.

10 girls got together and we all headed off to Spain for Jane’s Hen week, to Palmanova in Mallorca, just round the corner from Magaluf. We had an apartment between us, with a fantastic balcony, and use of the pool in the complex. We had a great week, with lovely weather. Generally we had quiet days either by the pool or by the beach and headed out in the evenings. The highlight of the week was the Pirates show, a fantastic display of acrobatics, gymnastics and dancing. We all got dressed up and enjoyed the evening, it was a truly awesome show! We also went to BCM one evening, and on another headed off to the Marina for a lovely meal, on other evenings we went out on the strip in Magaluf, and even had one quiet night in the apartment.
