We made a whole weekend of it for Dan’s Birthday this year. On the Saturday he had a houseparty, with a number of cocktails and, of course, homemeade cake. It’s also the first time I’ve seen Dan properly drunk! 
) On the Sunday a number of his friends were still around, and we went out for lunch, then to the cinema in the afternoon before having a quiet evening. Dan’s actual birthday was on the Monday and we had a fun day out shopping before going to the Nat Raj for a big Indian meal in the evening.

Dan’s love of comedy has seen me dragged of to a number of different shows since we’ve been together. This time it was Frankie Boyle live, on Sunday evening in Winchester. It was an interesting evening, though not something I would have chosen to see myself. Dan enjoyed himself though, and that was the main thing )

Dan & I finally managed to try out the local fun swimming pool – visiting the Romsey Rapids. It was pretty much as we expected, with a rapids, jacuzzi pool and a slide. We’ll be keeping an eye out for a bigger water park over the summer though.
