Cornwall

Mum fancied a family holiday, so she arranged to borrow Anita’s Gran’s cottage in Point Green, near Truro. Dan & I were a bit nervous about a family holiday, esp as it would be the longest time he had spent with my family, but we all had a really good week. The weather wasn’t great, but we had a few good days & managed to fit in nearly everything we had intended to do. We managed to explore Truro, go swimming at the Ships & Castle fun pool in Falmouth, visit Goonhilly satellite station, Cornish Market World, Cornish Cyder Farm and Launceston Castle and also visit Portleven & Perranporth in search of beaches. Portlevel wasn’t so good for a beach – but did great fish & chips & ice cream sundaes! Perranporth was good fun tho & Dan even managed to teach David a few frisbee throws. We also went out for a meal for Mum’s Birthday & Dan & I called in to visit my friend Emma on our way back in Plymouth. It was a really nasty drive home, with rain, fog & unlit country roads to contend with – but overall a good week.
